Welcome to the web page of the Forres and Accordion Fiddle Club.

The club was set up to promote an interest in accordian and fiddle music and to hold social evenings where music can be played an enjoyed

 

Meetings

Club meetings are held from September to May on the second Wednesday of each month in the Victoria Hotel, Forres at 7.30pm.
The evening usually starts with the local player playing through until 8.30pm, followed by the guest artist(s) playing until 9.00pm when there is a break for tea and the raffle is drawn. The second half of the evening starts at 9.30pm with local players through to 10.15pm and the guest artist(s) finishing off the evening till 11.00pm. Compares for the evenings are either Andy Ross or John Matheson.

Membership

Entry to club meetings can be gained either by becoming a member or by paying an entrance fee of £3.00. Members of other Accordian and Fiddle Clubs pay a £2.00 entrance fee.
Annual Membership costs are £9.00 for ordinary members and £6.00 for Senior Citizens.
